“California Secretary of State Alex Padilla refused to release any voter information to a federal voter-fraud probe that he claimed “has already inaccurately passed judgment that millions of Californians voted illegally.” California’s participation, Padilla said in a statement, “would only serve to legitimize the false and already debunked claims of massive voter fraud made by the president.” Absent any data, Californians would have to take his word for it.”
Sac Bee Dec 2018: “The California Department of Motor Vehicles on Wednesday said it has discovered it sent the Secretary of State’s Office 23,000 erroneous voter registrations. … According to the agency, 1,600 residents did not complete a voter registration affidavit and had their information sent to the secretary of state, which maintains the state’s list of registered voters.”
KCAL January 2015: “The Department of Motor Vehicles is so overwhelmed with requests for new driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations that it can take up to three months to get an appointment or a half-day wait in the lobby.”
In 2015 Burst Updates reported that California citizens receiving notices to renew could not set up an appointment before theirs expired.
