FED JUDGE RULES 2020 CENSUS CAN INCLUDE QUESTION ABOUT CITIZENSHIP

Posted on February 11, 2019

GP: “A federal judge ruled on Friday the US government can include citizenship question on the US Census. It makes complete sense so Democrats are against it.”

“It also affects how much federal funding the sanctuary communities will receive from American taxpayers. So, of course, Democrats are against this.”

Report: “US District Judge Dabney Friedrich declined to issue a preliminary injunction requested by a privacy and civil liberties nonprofit group, the Electronic Privacy Information Center.”

Breitbart last December: “The Department of Justice (DOJ) is trying to convince the Census Bureau to add a question about citizenship status to 2020 census forms, according to a DOJ letter released Friday. The December 12 letter from DOJ lawyer Arthur Gary to Census Bureau official Dr. Ron Jarmin said the bureau should include the citizenship question as a way to enforce the Voting Rights Act.”

WSJ last spring: “New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said he would lead a multistate lawsuit to stop the administration from adding the question to the next census after the administration announced its intention to do so late Monday night. Last month he and 18 other attorneys general and one governor wrote to Commerce Department Secretary Wilbur Ross, who oversees the Census Bureau, urging him not to proceed with the plan.”

More people equates to more representation for the dems if the illegals are counted. How many of California House seats would be threatened? What about electoral votes?
