Trump crushed Hillary in the presidential election with 304 electoral votes carrying several key blue states and the GOP candidates running in them. Suddenly republicans controlled not only the White House but Congress as well. The people waited for change.

W Post, “the eight most notable areas Trump caved in his first big spending negotiation”:
“1. There are explicit restrictions to block the border wall.
2. Non-defense domestic spending will go up, despite the Trump team’s insistence he wouldn’t let that happen.
3. Barack Obama’s cancer moonshot is generously funded.
4. Trump fought to cut the Environmental Protection Agency by a third. The final deal trims its budget by just 1 percent, with no staff cuts.
5. He didn’t defund Planned Parenthood.
6. The president got less than half as much for the military as he said was necessary… ”

The budget not only does not provide anything for the wall, it stipulates how funding can be used to protect our border. Building the wall was one of trump’s top promises. It funds abortion and illegals. It funds everything Pres Trump cut from EPA. It funds sanctuary cities. It funds California transit… How did the GOP represent the people? They once again promise to fix it later to avoid a government shutdown. Remember all of those compromises to make things right in the future during Obama?

Who wrote this budget? Obama came into office with bills ready for Congress to pass.

The People want America to be great again. Because of their votes the GOP won the House and the Senate yet the dems won the budget. Is their president ready to veto? How could a shutdown be worse?
