FOX NEWS EMPIRE SHIFTING LEFT, DUMPING CONSERVATISM: NY TIMES LIKES WARMER FUZZIER WORKPLACE

Posted on April 22, 2017

NYT: “With James and his elder brother, Lachlan, 45, who is the executive chairman of 21st Century Fox, firmly entrenched as their father’s successors, they are now forcibly exerting themselves. … They are working to make the family empire their own, not the one the elder Murdoch created to suit his sensibilities.”

“When his sons took over two years ago, however, they immediately set about creating a warmer and fuzzier workplace, at least in parts of the company, and moving away from an anti-politically correct environment that, at least in the case of Fox News, seemed to enable the kind of behavior of which Mr. Ailes and Mr. O’Reilly have been accused.
Employees at the Fox broadcast network said they were pleasantly surprised… something that had rarely if ever been done under the archly conservative Rupert Murdoch.”

The story about O’Reilly’s sexual allegations began in the NY Times a few weeks ago. Why then, where did it originate, what’s the big deal about sexual harassment for libs?

Back in college, 45yrs ago, I subscribed to the WSJ. It was conservatism. They did not support Trump in 2016, it’s a different crew.

The point being Fox News has changed as well. Murdoch’s sons have taken over, they’re millennials, Starbucks global warming, fuzzy workplace libs. Imagine the scuttlebutt at the clubs if O’Reilly remained.

NY Times is back to pat them on the back for conforming. The company lost advertising revenue, tens of thousands of people were complaining. Interesting how Hillary’s campaign or the Clinton Foundation was never affected by Bill’s aggressiveness. Nothing has been mentioned about social media bots with regard to all of those O’Reilly complaints.
