Zero Hedge: “Just days after reports emerged that student loan defaults are soaring, which is undoubtedly due to some combination of, among other things, poor job prospects for the millions of snowflakes who graduate each year with their $200,000 educations in anthropology and the moral hazard created by liberal politicians constantly calling for student debts to be ‘forgiven’ (a.k.a. forcefully jammed down the throats of taxpayers), the Trump administration has revoked rules put in place by Obama that barred student debt collectors from charging penalty fees on past-due loans.”

ObamaCare passed with an amendment giving government sole control over education loans. America had seen the results of Fannie and Freddie as well as those in every case in which government eliminates private sector competition. Where does government not attempt to create an addiction from which the user eventually cannot break? Liberal arts is a liberal perspective accomplishing two objectives. Students are molded and indebted to the liberals. New programs allow elimination of debt in return for government service which is funded by taxpayers as well.

What reason have liberal universities had to compete for students?

What incentive have the students had to repay?

Burst Updates March 2013: “A quick list of companies founded or run by individuals without college degrees; Domino’s Pizza, Jet Blue, Microsoft, Apple, Coke, Facebook, Mirage Resorts, Bank of America, Readers Digest, Yahoo, Oracle Software, Amway, Dreamworks, Boston Chicken, Hallmark, Oreck, Holiday Inn, Mrs Fields, Conair, Snapple, Mrs Kay, Enterprise, Dell, Best Buy, Ronco, Virgin Records, Gateway Computers, Slim Fast, Napster…
Consider the salary range being offered today by the companies which have openings and compare it with universities in your tuition range plus room and board. Where does a four year degree place a student in the market today in terms of demand and what costs must the student meet in order to be successful? What is the cost to service the tuition debt?
How might those same monthly obligations for college expenses be used towards other objectives? The above list contains people who did just that. They were enormously successful, so many others have done extremely well in small business simply pursuing areas of interest. What’s wrong with being a plumber?”

A hard core conservative in the 70’s, I played sports and started a company in college, the liberal arts education was a complete waste of time and money.

Obama and the liberals would never privatize Social Security fearing people’s ability to handle their money yet was more than willing to allow the burden of billions in failed student loan debt.
