WSJ: “The Justice Department formally appealed a Maryland judge’s decision this week that blocked the implementation of President Donald Trump’s revised executive order barring U.S. entry for people from six Muslim-majority countries. The appeal on Friday kicks off a new phase in litigation over whether Mr. Trump’s latest travel restrictions improperly target people based on their religion.”

The appeal will be heard by the 4th Circuit.

The Hawaii judge’s TRO on Pres Trump’s second ban on immigration from 6 countries had nothing to do with religion, the EO only mentioned the countries. Who is coming here from those countries that Pres Trump wants to protect America from? Radical Islamic terrorists. What is their religion? How do they feel about Christians?

ACLJ: “The court created a constitutional crisis where none existed. The court’s Establishment Clause analysis is fundamentally flawed and ignores the separation of powers. Worst of all, it puts our national security at risk.”
