McCain: “President Trump has to provide the American people, not just the Intelligence Committee but the American people with evidence that his predecessor, former president of the United States, was guilty of breaking the law because our director of national intelligence, Gen Clapper, testified that there was absolutely no truth to that allegation.
So I think the president has one of two choices, either retract or to provide the information that the American people deserve, because if his predecessor violated the law, president Obama violated the law, we have got a serious issue here, to say the least.”

McCain said he had no proof it was true: “But I also believe that the president of the United States could clear this up in a minute. All he has to do is pick up the phone, call the director of the CIA, director of national intelligence, and say OK what happened? Because they certainly should know whether the former president of the United States was wiretapping Trump Tower. …
If true, or the allegation is left out there, it undermines the confidence the American people have in the entire way that the government does business.”

Carl Bernstein told CNN: “They were looking at Trump’s business ties. They saw some questionable things about Russians, about his businesses in Russia. They in turn hired this MI6 former investigator. He then came up with additional information from his Russian sources. He was very concerned by the implications of it. He then took it to an FBI colleague that he had known in his undercover work for years. He took it to this FBI man in Rome who turned it over to the bureau in Washington in August.”

The GOP asked for control of Congress and the White House. Because of the nuclear option change in 2013 60 votes were no longer needed in the Senate. It was not good for America. We have too many regulations and laws currently, Pres Trump is eliminating two for each new one. Obama stuffed the courts in order to evade the ballot box. New laws were made by his leftist judges circumventing the people. Abortion and ObamaCare were decided in the courts. The Constitution was designed for the people, not massive government control.

What if the GOP had the 60 Senate seats? McCain is on CNN asking Pres Trump to prove his innocence. Who else is out there as usual ready to defect? Whether it’s 51 or 60, the GOP loses without liberal support.
