Business Insider: “Target is launching a first-of-its-kind one-day sale to try and boost back-to-school shopper traffic amid a boycott over its bathroom policy. The retailer is offering a 10% discount on everything in its stores and online on Sunday. Target is calling the event #TargetRunDay.”

It marks the first time Target has ever offered a 10% discount both in stores and on its website. The sale comes after Target last week reported its first quarterly traffic decline in more than two years.”

One week after they announced transgender employees and customers would be permitted to use the bathroom of their choice almost 350,000 had pledged to boycott Target. That was in April just after N Carolina had done the same to it’s people concerning public restrooms.

The people did not accept Target’s totalitarianism as the boycott list grew to over half a million a day later.

The effects showed in store traffic as it 2.2% in their 2nd qtr. Overall sales dropped 7.2% as a result.
