A crowd in Colorado lit candles and cried last night. CBS4: “A vigil was held in Boulder Sunday evening for an elk that was shot by a police officer last week. About 75 people attended the vigil on Mountain View Road, near where the incident occurred. People lit candles, sang songs including “Amazing Grace” and “We Shall Overcome.” Many also spoke at length about the animal who was frequently seen in the area and had been given many nicknames…”
A local officer killed the elk with one shot saying it was injured and had to be put out of it’s misery. The story says the action was against protocol before explaining that the meat was butchered for personal use.
We wondered how these same people felt about Boulder Abortion Clinic, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester abortions.
