Michael Sciaraffo, Sandy Claus, is not checking naughty or nice as he voluntarily provides Christmas cheer to the children who remain forgotten in the Sandy devastation. “Between the requests coming in for personal visits as well as the influx of donations, it’s been a full time job. And kudos to Santa, because I don’t know how he pulls it off every year.” Michael has converted his apartment into a toy warehouse.
Reagan: “Christmas has always been a very special day for as long back as I can remember.”
Texas congressman Bohac introduced Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah legislation, Bill 308, “Relating to a school district’s recognition of and education regarding traditional winter celebrations.” Children came home after school asking what a holiday tree was.
Some things change over the course of time but it’s interesting today when people cannot define the true meaning of Christmas.
