An independent panel reported on Benghazi: “…systematic management and leadership failures at the State Department led to “grossly” inadequate security…” In conclusion, nobody was named as responsible for the ‘failures’. Not only were all of the problems nobody’s fault, nobody was named.
There was no protest. There were constant requests for more security. Security failures were common. NYP asks about answers: “The report doesn’t say — nor will Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who conveniently suffered a concussion and will not appear as expected before House and Senate committees today.”
Like Hillary, Obama was not mentioned in the report. National Journal says: “Even more damning, in its absence, was the report’s failure to step back and question whether the Obama administration, at its highest levels (starting with the president), created the conditions for Benghazi by overstating the decimation of al-Qaida and playing down the significance of the extremist elements, possibly al-Qaida-linked, that have reemerged in the aftermath of the Arab Spring in Libya and elsewhere. Unless this reckoning is made, it is easy to imagine a similar disaster happening in post-Assad Syria, or elsewhere in the region. This has been a chief Republican talking point against Obama since the Benghazi attacks occurred on Sept. 11.”
Agent Terry died for his country as well yet details remain unanswered. There is an ex-marine chained to his prison bed in Mexico who will remain there during Christmas. Jay Carney just said he was not aware of it.
The report identifies lack of security by the Libyan government. Daily Caller: “Despite the chaos, top-level officials refused to recognize the dangers, say critics, partly because such recognition would highlight flaws in Obama’s strategy.”
Everything that was omitted in the report, no different than past events, revealed the source of the problem, Obama.
