It was about a year ago when Rush talked about Obama’s sudden urge to ‘streamline’ government: “That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, all of a sudden, Barack Obama wants to streamline government. Wow. Isn’t it a beautiful thing. Well, let’s look, shall we, at what it is Obama wants to shrink. These are the agencies that Obama suggests that we merge, downsize, shrink, what have you. The Commerce Department. The Small Business Administration. The Office of the US Trade Representative. The Export/Import Bank. The Overseas Private Investment Corporation. The Trade and Development Agency.”
Continuing: “Now, what do these agencies all have in common? They’re all pro-business. They are all pro-business. And this is where Obama wants to shrink. You could even say those agencies might lean to being pro-Republican or pro-conservative, and that’s what Obama wants to shrink.”
No need to arm the military, defense cuts had already been decided. At the same time our police are unionized protectors of crime, cannot take them off the streets and must arm them with the finest.
CNS focuses on growth in firearms industry today: “Since President Barack Obama took the oath of office on January 20, 2009, the share price of firearms manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Company has increased more than 700 percent.
At the close of business on the day of Obama’s inauguration, the price of Ruger stock (Ticker: RGR) was $5.48 per share. At the end of the trading day on December 17, 2012, the price of the stock closed at $44.00 per share; an increase of 703 percent in less than four years.” Examples of similar success are listed.
Back at the Oval Office Boehner is bargaining tax increase concessions and ignoring the vital issue of spending. Obama countered with an insignificant tax level increase while demanding fewer spending cuts. When will they pass another temporary extension?
The gun maker’s extension is running out, in that instance the GOP are increasing concessions as well. I always thought of an assault weapon as a chemical bomb, large magazines and semi-automatics in time will be redefined. The guns have never been the problem. Abortions kill the people all of those guns don’t yet Planned Parenthood is a liberal’s best friend.
