The House has voted out and left. Last minute has arrived for any opportunity to alter the oncoming taxmageddon and the announcement has been made for the Obama, Boehner face to face. The area of greatest division is spending, Obama’s refusal to make any cuts. His focus remains of tax hikes for the successful in order to both fund entitlements and provide more income to the middle class.
More income to the middle class means tax cuts per Obama. As we have previously stated, there are no tax cuts. The plan is to continue Bush’s rates for all taxpayers but the successful. The question is how does that promote growth amongst the middle class?
Employment for the middle class comes from small business, the tax target of Obama. If the Boehner concedes to Obama by accepting that as part of ‘the compromise’, he is effectively destroying middle class jobs.
Why not allow Obama to wear that badge by forcing him, as a result of not offering such a compromise, and allowing the small business sector to be forced to layoff or not further employ?
