Obama was in Nevada campaigning the day following the Embassy attack yet this time he’s in the White House after the big storm, campaign suspended. After Katrina, what did the news media followers have to say about Bush when he suspended his campaign? If you do not recall it had nothing to do with the polls, early voting, changing the election date, who benefited by nature’s action…

NY Times: “With more than one in three votes likely to be cast before Election Day this year, Republicans are stepping up their efforts to chip away at what has been a Democratic advantage in early voting in vital battlegrounds like Ohio and North Carolina.”

Politico’s article refers to the Gallup poll we used as a basis for this story and is entitled “Neither Side Has Edge.” The NYT title includes the same key word ‘edge’.

Note the posted early voting status results above, already voted, Romney 52 – Obama 46. At the same time in the Oct 2008 McCain race Gallup had it Obama 55 – McCain 40.

How is the weather affecting the election?
