The news media does not exist to inform the public, it’s a campaign agent for the DNC. The people, sick of being played, abandoned news media sources long ago for the facts in order to decide for themselves. One such source was the internet. The transition permitted exposure of the truth which the news media so gracefully destroyed. Last weekend we covered Obama’s new efforts to control it, to control you.
There was a Pew report about four years ago which found only 25% of those with whom they spoke read the paper yesterday. The result was consistent with previous slides. So we checked for something more recent and and located a CBS study.
The story begins: “The number of Americans reading print newspapers, magazines and books is in rapid decline.
Only 29 percent of Americans now say they read a newspaper yesterday – with just 23 percent reading a print newspaper. Over the past decade, the percentage reading a print newspaper the previous day has fallen by 18 points (from 41 percent to 23 percent). Somewhat more (38 percent) say they regularly read a daily newspaper, although this percentage also has declined, from 54 percent in 2004.”
A lot of news media print continues to go broke yet converts to internet format. They do not have the volume to support the advertising to make the profits in print, not that internet is the solution.
The news media slaves simply will not report anything Obama does not want the people to know. Consider the Wallace interview with Axelrod yesterday;
Axelrod: “Chris Steven’s dad said that he regretted that people were trying to exploit this issue. And I think we ought to follow the lead of the ambassador’s family and allow this investigation to run.”
Wallace: “This is the first US ambassador that has been killed since 1979. Susan Rice came on this show and five others and gave the American people a story that turned out not to be true and you’re saying that we shouldn’t discuss this?”
Why wasn’t this a lead story on ABC, CBS, or NBC evening? What about Korea’s new short skirts frontpage on the NYT? They will not tell Sean Smith’s mother what happened! Why are our soldiers dying?
Leaders do not accept all of the credit and none of the blame. A border agent died before the Libya massacre, and soldiers at Ft Hood before him. Obama continues to deflect blame and the news media reports nothing. Why would anyone read it?
