When the Michelle My Butt lunch program was implemented in Chicago the students either started bringing brown bags or buying what they wanted from new suppliers outside. Those forced to live off the fair and balanced nutrition either skipped over what they could not eat or filled the garbage with it. In the end, like all government genius taxpayer funded programs, this too was a waste of our money, but do not try to convince the libs.
WKMG: “Lake County School Board officials are considering attaching cameras to school cafeteria trash cans to study what students are tossing after officials found that most of the vegetables on the school menu end up in the trash can.” Estimated losses in vegetable tosses for last year exceeded $75,000.
A school board member frets over loss of nutrition and in the quest to resolve the problem came up with an answer which would obvious send the tingles up Michelle My Butt’s legs. What better than to watch what’s going on? Install eyeballs over the garbage cans!
It’s got nothing to do with nutrition, they are focused only on the spending. Can’t have the tax money if the kids aren’t eating the veggies.
One day all of these changes with our food choices at the grocery will have to be justified. Food stamp people are purchasing meat for Spot since dog food is not permitted. Shouldn’t we know who is eating that steak? Once the internet is under government control, everything will fall right into place. How much of ObamaCare is yet to be either read or written?
