On July 30th the DOL sent the following: “To all employees of federal contractors, including in the defense industry, is not required 60 days in advance of January 2, 2013, and would be inappropriate given the lack of certainty about how the budget cuts will be implemented and the possibility that the sequester will be avoided before January.”

When word got out of defense contractors sending advanced layoff notices to arrive prior to the November elections the atmosphere heated up in Washington. The House passed a bill to pay for the first year of sequestration but the Senate never acted and Obama ignored it, until now.
It’s a matter of weeks before Lockheed is forced by law to issue 123,000 pink slips in compliance to the auto cuts in defense spending. They are not alone, it’s their share of sequestration.
When the corruption and lies must be confronted, and the news media followers can no longer protect you, the truth suddenly gets ugly. Time for more lies and more corruption. The feds go to Lockheed and and tell them not to issue the pink slips. Lockheed obviously realizes not only are they liable for fines and statutes but they are screwing with loyal employees who want to know if they have a job.
The government simply assures them they will cover all liabilities if the company refrains from issuing the pink slips as stipulated by law and is ‘a little late’ in the end.
Private business is not following the law but the will of Obama. Once again taxpayer money is being used as a campaign contribution for Obama, but the people are not told. Remember stimulus? How much of our money went to unions which sent it back to Obama? How much went to solar companies which did the same? How much is being sent to foreign countries who now control our energy? What about terrorist countries who own our debt? Which of the aforementioned does not support Obama? Do the GOP realize that?
The debate is tomorrow, it’s about our economy, will Romney talk about how our taxpayer dollars are being spent? Will campaign contributions be mentioned? What about Lockheed Martin? What did Univision say?
