Back in 2010, after approval numbers had sunk to a new low, Obama decided it was time to revisit The View. Unlike the previous appearance in 2008, questions about Rev Wright… would now be off the table. This time he could pal up with the gals, and discuss his legislative victories in order to rejuvenate the fire in his polls. The questions now to be coming from the ABC family, it would be applause from the crowd and smiles all around.
About two weeks ago we began stressing the fact that Obama had invited Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi to meet in New York at the UN General Assembly, the same day he turned down Netanyahu. Morsi never responded affirmatively and we just received his demands for such a meeting, the bows, apologies, and all of our billions were not enough to buy a few minutes with Obama. The schedule was updated and Netanyahu’s phone did not ring.
Times have been tough again lately and Obama knows his playbook, once more he has been working the scene. The Middle East might be falling apart but not Obama’s social life!
Before all of that began, and disgustingly so, Obama was pulled away from the campaign/fundraising trail to face the cameras at Andrews when the caskets from Libya arrived. After the embassy attack, while the fires were starting throughout the Middle East, Obama was off the Vegas. This ‘ceremony’ in front of the hearses and caskets, was pure politics, cold water on the heroes who died in service for their country while Obama, Hillary, and Biden stuck their fat faces in front of the cameras (I wasn’t aware they were permitted). Hillary continued to insist it was the internet video that started everything.
Obviously weighing heavily on Obama he was soon off to Letterman, the high rent New York area for a fundraiser with Jay-Z, and is now getting his slacks creased for The View.
