America is closing in on a full term of Obama feeling our pain, what hurts any less? The campaign for green energy has never ended but no longer is the pain of the price at the pump a problem. Obama last spring: “I understand what folks are going through because it wasn’t that long ago that I was having to fill up my gas tank and drive to work, shuttle the kids back and forth to school or events. It takes a big bite out of folks’ paychecks.”
He spoke to students in N Carolina about Romney’s refusal to support low education loans saying: “We didn’t come from wealthy families. We paid more in student loans than we paid on the mortgage when we finally did buy a condo. We finished paying our student loans. And check this out, I’m the President of the Untied States, we only finished paying off our student loans about eight years ago.” This was a day after Romney said he fully supported the program.
Unemployment has gone off the charts with no end in sight. The only solutions being offered by Obama are government handouts, food stamps, Welfare, unemployment, disability, education, refinancing underwater mortgages…, nothing which provides opportunity for short or long term improvement. What good does a degree do me if I am only able to move into my parents basement after earning it and receive government health care until 26yrs? Tuition for the damn illegals is less.
Carter’s bullet to his second term was the demand to the people that they learn to accept less as normal. Reagan instilled no limits. Do you want to merely exist as a product of Obama’s understanding of your pain or a result of your pain’s achievements?
