WORKING VP RYAN: NEW IDEAS FOR GOP 2012

Who cares about the VP candidate? This is the first we have said about it, a window dressing role used to capture a state, sector, region in a campaign and then disappear into uselessness except to break Senate log jams. All of the tattle tale forms went out on Obama’s .gov site to exploit what were considered the obvious choices, people to chastise for window dressing roles to divert attention away from who Obama really is.

Coulter is an intelligent person, huge Christie supporter, who does not always stand behind the hard core conservatives. It gets back to what I said yesterday about the camaraderie amongst liberals versus the divisions amongst the GOP. About a year ago she was berating Palin, Perry, and Bachmann: “This country is looking for real substance.”

She spoke of the Ryan choice saying: “I really think the big thing with the Ryan pick is that it turns it into a 1980 Reagan election about ideas. Democrats can’t escape it. They’re going to have to scream about their socialist policies and we just have to, as Bernie Sanders says, raise taxes on the rich as high as they need to be and not touch the program that was ordained by the saint FDR.”

Romney took a new, innovative approach in his selection which was solutions orientated. Paul Ryan is a forward thinker, no more looking back blaming others for lack of success, the focus is on achievement. The window dressing is gone, Ryan is a working VP, the plan is for he and Romney to work together, not apart. Look for the new Mediscare and Social Securityscare ads coming next week attacking the ideas to resolve the goals Obama has to destroy America.
