Last May marked the first year since a tornado wiped out Joplin. The devastation was overwhelming, the rebuilding continues, the people are strong. Unlike Katrina and Rita, the community relied less upon government. Obama was eating steak after the beer fest in Ireland while Joplin searched for it’s survivors. On the 4th, 2011, Rushed arrived with a truckload of tea. Private corporations stepped in and helped the effort.
In New Orleans, after almost 60% or $7 Billion in grants were approved, so much fraud. I cannot find how much was received by Joplin before it was cut off but the total offered by Obama was $1.8 Billion.
Joplin reports registration cards from 80,000 voters being returned: “New cards, which must be sent to voters each two years, were mailed out earlier in July. But about 10,000 cards have been sent back because the addresses on them were no longer valid. That’s going to pose a problem for voters — and election officials — at the Aug. 7 primary election, said the clerk.
Election officials say many of the cards being returned were sent to residents in Joplin and Duquesne who moved after their homes were damaged or destroyed in the May 22, 2011, tornado but have not yet changed their address with election officials.”
Daily Caller spoke with Lt Gov Kinder: “I absolutely believe that our secretary of state is asleep on the job, delinquent, debilitatory, and I don’t know why she doesn’t drive herself into Joplin and get about the business of taking care of this immediately. I drove myself from the state capitol, Jefferson City, to Joplin yesterday for my own set of appointments in the evening and this morning. People are upset about this.”
Holder is busy in Ohio fighting our military. Fairness is no photo ID. Where are Gov Nixon and Carnahan? It’s another attempt to win the election in the courts.
