Obama stated explicitly in 2009 that the individual mandate was not a tax arguing his position on national television. The legislation was passed by Congress on that basis. Today the Supreme Court ruled ObamaCare constitutional as a tax. It amounts to nothing other than fraud, the largest tax increase in our history, the ability of the court to impose a tax, and the opportunity to tax people to control them.
The ability for government to tax in order to impose control means there’s no limit as to what can be taxed. That is why Obama, the libs, and news media followers are out dancing in the streets today. Burst Updates has maintained from the start that it was never about health care but empowerment of government.
All of those Obama ads against 4 white guys and an uncle Tom are now junked. The campaign issue is dead. Obama cannot run on his record, Bush left 4 years ago, and saving ObamaCare equates to more unemployment and the kiss of death to our economy.
The 4 justices in dissent found the entire legislation unconstitutional, the great divide. It’s up to the people, we cannot rely on government.
