COMMITTEE VOTES HOLDER IN CONTEMPT

The purpose behind Fast and Furious was control over America, an attempt to rewrite our 2nd Amendment, remove our freedom to own guns. Obama’s home city has already done so, again, against the will of the people. No different than his strike on Libya, his defiance of the judge’s ruling concerning the Gulf shutdown, or his non-recess appointments, like last Friday’s immigration order, he does as he pleases. Today the House stepped in and to restore order.

Brian Terry’s name came up several times.

Part of a family letter was read prior to the vote: “For more than 18 months we have been asking our federal government for justice and accountability. The documents sought by the House Oversight Committee and associated with Operation Fast and Furious should be produced and turned over to the committee. Our son lost his life protecting this nation, and it is very disappointing that we are now faced with an administration that seems more concerned with protecting themselves…”

Referring to Terry, Rep Chaffetz spoke: “It’s not about Attorney General Eric Holder, it’s about the Justice Department and justice in America.”

Rep Farenthold: “Remember the promises that were made in this room to Terry’s family. We would not rest until we got to the bottom of this.”

Ranking liberal member Rep Cummings had promised the Terry family: “we will not rest until every single person responsible for all of this, no matter where they are, are brought to justice.” It was just a little while ago when he sided with the libs and vote along party lines against contempt.

The family has filed a $25 Million wrongful death claim against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms stating that their son was murdered with a weapon Fast and Furious knowingly sold to the cartel.

We expect the House to support the committee vote but what difference will this have on either Holder or Obama?
