Claire McCaskill, D-MO, just grabbed the news media follower spotlight intriguing them with more lies. This time it was about Harry Reid’s Senate passing a budget. McCaskill is that liberal who forgot to pay all of those taxes on her plane as she flew around hammering the greedy rich for their fair share, but the media forgives and forgets. They also have selected memory, the last time the Senate passed a budget was in the spring of 2009.
Politico, May 15: “Senate Democrats are ripping into Republican budget plans but still refusing to offer one themselves — a move that’s frustrating a handful of centrists in their own party.
During a closed-door meeting with the Democratic caucus Tuesday, Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad picked apart the four GOP spending proposals, later describing them as “partisan” and “radical.”
And Majority Leader Harry Reid literally laughed at what he called “ridiculous budgets”.”
McCaskill stands with Reid, aligned behind Obama, in an effort to put politics ahead of government and endorse the Obama plan while ignoring our deficits. Decisions are being made without the people and contrary to our Constitution.
