The last bar where I smoke a cigar was in Jackson Hole Wyoming. In St Louis it got so controlled that Ballwin passed a no smoking law for bars, including those which owned their buildings and property. They built outside decks and amendments were passed to extend no smoking to outside, after the decks had been built! Now New York has something going that could make this worse.

New York’s unhappy days are being detailed down to the hour. NY Post: “Happy hour in the city could end if Department of Health policy party-poopers go ahead with a proposal to outlaw beer and booze specials at bars and restaurants, sources told The Post.”
It’s hard to find anyplace to smoked in this area, which, like Ballwin, promised the smoking czar would not affect business. It’s the liberal way, take anything you can get your teeth on and keep tearing. Now they want the business. Any company has slow spots, those Tuesday evening pizza specials are not out of the kindness of these stores hearts, they are creating turns during a normally slow spot. Happy hours accomplish the same. Business creates revenues, taxes, and employment.
Breweries are union. How much longer before the members realize where the dues are spent and how it affects them?
