ObamaCare was supposed do a lot of great things including reduce costs. We are still waiting for wind, solar, and algae. Obama: “My father served in WWII, and when he came home, he got the services he needed.” We found a letter in Congress.org responding to his claim about dad’s service: “Obama Sr. (Obama’s father) / *Born 4/4/36 / Died 11/24/82 at the age of 46 / He was 5 years old when WW 2 started, and less than 9.5 years old when it ended.”

Of course you do realize he was referring to Stanley Dunham- his grandfather. The man who was the father figure in Obamas life, the man who raised him? Who did indeed joining the military after the attack on Pearl Harbor and served as a sergeant in Europe during the war.
Either Obama misspoke- saying father instead of grandfather, or like many americans raised by a relative other then their biological parent, has simply become accustomed to thinking of them, and referring to them, as their parent.
And while were at it- lets debunk the other lie about Obamas lies about family military service- his statement at a speech in 2008 where he said an uncle was among the first to go to Aushwitz, and liberate the concentration camps. The right loves to bring this one up as another lie- but Obama simply misspoke. The story is true- except is was Buchenwald not Aushwitz.
