Following Hurricane Katrina Mississippi home owners filed against area energy companies seeking compensation for damage. They asserted the greenhouse gases emitted by those companies created global warming which was so extensive that it both raised sea levels and increased the forces of the hurricanes. The district court dismissed the suit in 2007. Refiling in the Fifth District the decision was overturned.
Washington Times yesterday: “Climate alarmists have lost a major court case that had the potential for turning every weather emergency into endless litigation. It’s a victory for the law, for science and for common sense.
On Tuesday, Federal Judge Louis Guirola Jr., in the Southern District of Mississippi, dismissed the case of Comer vs. Murphy Oil for lack of standing.”
The Dream Act, Contraceptives, Martial Law… were all enacted with Obama’s signature. They will not give the people the information behind Fast and Furious. Judicial decisions have either been ignored or employed to achieve regulation through litigation. The people’s government is being dictated by the government. The Problem continues. Destroy it in 2012 or it will destroy America.
