OBAMA NO BLAME GAME RUNS OUT OF SILVER BULLETS

A few weeks ago Obama personally lobbied liberal senators against Keystone. His political quest prevented the authorization of the construction of the entire pipeline. The NEB approved it in 2009 and Obama halted it 2 years later in November.

Mark Ayers from the AFL-CIO reacted saying: “In total, the Keystone XL pipeline project has been subjected to tremendous amounts of scrutiny through the National Environmental Policy Act, which includes review by ten federal agencies, as well as numerous state and local agency reviews. The State Department [Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement] has concluded that the proposed Keystone XL pipeline would have “limited adverse environmental impact during construction and operation” and that it would significantly strengthen U.S. economic security.”

CNN- Rising Gas Prices Aren’t as Bad as You Think
The prices have never been higher at this time of the year, how couldn’t they not be as bad as we think? What about all of the other related cost increases?

Recent Gallup results reveal America’s opinion. Overwhelmingly, they think the government should approve the building of it, 78% to 22%. Obama claimed credit for a portion in Oklahoma that he could not have prevented. Although it connects to Texas, we need the 12 inches that crosses Canada. He did make history in that Keystone was the first international pipeline ever denied.

He continues to hand out more and more taxpayer dollars to the green graveyard while real America keeps it’s head above water. The Volt is on vacation and the Copper Mountain plant he just visited was funded 40% by taxpayers. That plant only has 5 full time employees. Total cost exceeded $140,000M, do the math.

Obama blames the GOP: “If you guys are talkin’ to your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers, your aunts or uncles and they’re wonderin’ what’s going on in terms of oil production, you just tell ‘em: Anybody who suggests that somehow we’re suppressin’ domestic oil production isn’t paying attention. I want everybody to understand this: We use 20% of the world’s oil; we only produce 2% of the world’s oil. Even if we opened up every inch of the country, if I put a — an oil rig on the South Lawn; if we had one right next to the Washington Monument; even if we drilled every little bit of this great country of ours — we’d still have to buy the rest of our needs from someplace else if we keep on usin’ the same amount of energy, the same amount of oil.” Only 2%, plus offshore East, West, Gulf coast, ANWR, fracking…

Obama: “The price of oil will still be set by the global market, and that means every time there’s tensions that rise in the Middle East, which is what’s happening right now, so will the price of gas. The main reason the gas prices are high right now is because people are worried about what’s happening with Iran. It doesn’t have to do with domestic oil production.” Why the frontpage facetime for the great executive order in Oklahoma?

The silver bullets, like the summer of recovery, ObamaCare 2nd anniversary, Fast and Furious, school lunch programs, all the new jobs…, are blanks. The Gallup results are no different here than the polls are today for ObamaCare let alone any other big government stuffed down your throat miracle program. Keystone created all of the jobs as well as the gas but Obama disdains oil. Again, The Problem continues. Kill it in November or it kills you.
