News media and republicans alike continue to pound the idea that yesterday’s southern Santorum victories had no drastic effect on the delegate count. Romney, being a few hundred ahead, why waste the time or money of the inevitable GOP contender? If that were the case why isn’t Romney celebrating today? Before the first primary, the soldiers were out marching to victory, and after Mitt’s Iowa victory, firing salute rounds calling for all opponents to step aside. The conservatives spoke yesterday.

We have Fox’s exit polls, as you read the results ask yourself if this is really nothing more than a simple mathematical race or if perception is an element.

-SANTORUM-
ALABAMA
41% – Very Conservative
38% – Women
35% – Evangelicals
33% – Independents
MISSISSIPPI
41% – Married Women
39% – Very Conservative
35% – Evangelicals

-ROMNEY-
ALABAMA
50% – Not Conservative Enough
27% – About Right
10% – Too Conservative
MISSISSIPPI
52% – Not Conservative Enough
32% – About Right
09% – Too Conservative

Maybe there is more which needs to be said about RomneyCare.
