Heritage addresses Middle East issues not covered in yesterday’s Obama press conference. This is interesting as the tone of the conference changed completely from that of the previous. Read Heritage’s points below.

“Namely, does he regret his Administration’s hands-off approach to the Iranian Green Revolution? How can he answer for three years of failed efforts to engage with the likes of Syria and Iran, given that both are continuing to flout the international community? Why, if the President is a friend to Israel, is he pressing America’s ally to negotiate with a Palestinian authority that tolerates Hamas — a terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel? And why, given these significant threats in the Middle East — and indeed around the world — is the President slashing military spending and undermining America’s ability to defend itself.”
Eventually I stopped watching the recording of yesterday’s conference. The redundancy was so playbook it confirmed my suspicion this decision had been made long before the meeting with Netanyahu. The first impression Obama made was his lack of representation of America, it was all ‘I’. I did this, I did that, I was tougher than Bush…, never did he say this is our goal, America has…, America must continue to… He backed away from what little hope of aggressive support he portrayed against Iran’s nuclear weapon and once again turned his conference into another political campaign.
Who wants ObamaCare, a diminished military, underwater mortgages, $4 gas, food stamps, a Volt…? We the people has been transformed into You the government. Obama’s not listening.
