BRIGHT BITES THE DUST: NO KEYSTONE, DRILLING…

In his radio address last weekend Obama said: “We know there’s no silver bullet that will bring down gas prices or reduce our dependence on foreign oil overnight. But what we can do is get our priorities straight and make a sustained, serious effort to tackle this problem.” Chu just told Congress the Energy Department is making no effort to reduce our gas prices: “the overall goal is to decrease our dependency on oil.”

America is investing in foreign countries which manufacture batteries. That’s why there’s no Keystone, Gulf drilling, or new refineries.

Detroit Free Press: “Bright Automotive, an Indiana startup that hoped to produce a plug-in electric commercial van called the Idea, said Tuesday it is closing, pointing to excessively onerous conditions the U.S. Department of Energy was imposing on a loan.”

America’s money continues to be wasted on green companies which continue to fail. Bright’s light just went out. Another one bites the dust.
