For a long time we have focused on the republican effort to end the campaign early by pushing the selection of Romney. We tagged the group as ‘the republican establishment’. They, like their news media counterparts, told America he was the only person capable of beating Obama. Just last month we posted headlines in addition to the fact that nobody would touch Obama.
Right now Romney is making a big deal out of the fact that Santorum used robocalls to campaign for liberals in Michigan where parties can cross in the primary.
Those establishment republicans have always endorsed Romney’s campaign efforts to recruit independents and moderates before the conservative base. Why are those same republicans now attacking Santorum for recruiting the liberals?
