What would the news media followers not be saying about any GOP candidate who yesterday mistakenly spoke of creating 22 Million jobs they had created? Obama did and nothing was said. The media focus is not on his achievements but the personal background perspective of the GOP, and that is not going to change. People complain about negative ads amongst the GOP, tough luck! How long was it before Obama even talked to Fox?
MSNBC: “Newt Gingrich threatened Monday to skip any debate as the Republican nominee versus President Obama that’s moderated by a member of the media.
“As your nominee, I will not accept debates in the fall in which the reporters are the moderators,” Gingrich said at a rally in Pensacola. “We don’t need to have a second Obama person at the debate.”“
The story mentions the opening attack question concerning Newt’s ex-wife but only to relive the disgraceful few minutes enjoyed by the libs. Do not believe they aren’t drooling to do it again at the next opportunity.
In the end they spent the time and effort to define the debate rules. If it’s Gingrich, they want nothing to do with his offer of 7 3hr Lincoln-Douglas style debates. They also want the news media moderators on his side. For that matter I saw enough republicans along the way of whom they should welcome warmly. They were not focused on Obama either.
