The lead actor here is Nick Searcy, an old West Wing dude. Another piece of Cain brilliance, if you are not understanding it, the joke’s on you. My two favorite lines were first: “I’ve played a lot of tough guys in movies over the years, but you know what? Looking cool and saying lines that somebody else wrote for me doesn’t make me a real tough guy any more than looking cool and reading lines off the teleprompter that somebody else wrote makes a community organizer a real leader.” Watch the drink.
Second: “My friend wanted me to do a straight endorsement but I didn’t think that would be a real help to Cain as nobody knows who I am by name anyway.”
Even the DC republican elites have not yet gotten over the smoke, how long will they be picking up yellow flowers? The ad was done back in July and posted in August, that symbolism is all mine.
