Government is suing private industry for a takeover because they fear the results will not only result in less competition but increase consumer cost. AP: “The Justice Department filed suit Wednesday to block AT&T’s $39 billion deal to buy T-Mobile USA on grounds that it would raise prices for consumers.” AT&T as part of this deal was promising to return 5,000 back to America.
