Passengers were delayed yesterday at JFK as flight traffic was blocked. About 150 on ground travelers had a pre-scheduled direct booking to the beach, cross tarmac. The crossing was overlooked by the tower only to be identified by a pilot. Prompt attention was then placed on the error and immediate accommodations were made for everyone’s safety.
