Tuesday Brown took a hard left on the Obama Socialist Ave and signed a bill to tax Internet sales. Add the state sales taxes onto your shipping costs and it’s not worthwhile to shop Internet. Cigars have 40 cents added onto each one already before shipping. Amazon has more than 10,000 affiliates in the state and has said that when the law becomes effective they are out.
Amazon: “We oppose this bill because it is unconstitutional and counterproductive. It is supported by big-box retailers, most of which are based outside California, that seek to harm the affiliate advertising programs of their competitors. As a result, we will terminate contracts with all California residents that are participants in the Amazon Associates Program as of the date (if any) that the California law becomes effective.”
Job claims today were 428,000, again more than expected. Why wouldn’t these people be expecting higher to help soften the blow? Obama is once again back to his taxing job producers, why is Amazon moving out of California and surrendering the jobs? Better stated, why don’t Obama and his minions realize why?
