Obama will speak to the Alcoa plant in Iowa today to talk about the role manufacturers play in job creation. He’s excited about the future jobs heading their way as a result of the recovery. The NLRB just filed against Boeing in S Carolina, a large account of this Alcoa plant.
Obama and the liberals have sucked the economic life out of the private sector and created government employment. Jobs have not simply been lost, they have vanished, more people sit idle since the Great Depression. Most noteworthy they have disappeared from our manufacturing sector, so long considered this nation’s greatest strength. How can Bush fix the economy?
NYT: “In New York City alone, Chinese companies have won contracts to help renovate the subway system, refurbish the Alexander Hamilton Bridge over the Harlem River and build a new Metro-North train platform near Yankee Stadium. As with the Bay Bridge, American union labor would carry out most of the work done on United States soil.
American steelworker unions have disparaged the Bay Bridge contract by accusing the state of California of sending good jobs overseas and settling for what they deride as poor-quality Chinese steel.”
Unions sustain DNC campaign funding. The Wisconsin war was to save the unions. The Arizona lawsuit is to fight for future illegal union voters. Waivers are there to financially support contributing unions, taxpayers foot all of the bills. Why didn’t GE pay any taxes last FY?
Look at the NYT lines, NY and CA are broke, they are unable to afford the cost of union labor in manufacturing so China is no longer making all the stupid toys. CA saved almost half a Billion by contracting the construction out to China and shipping it back.
Choose to play in the mud and plan to get dirty. Some of these people who think otherwise are teachers. In the end common sense prevails, you are going to have to take care of yourself. How loyal is Obama to his staff, Congress, country, Constitution, policies, unions, military, illegals, news media, family, himself…?
