America’s deficits have screamed above $14 Trillion, borrowing $188 Million per hour. It outspends it’s earnings by 50% each month! Imagine shutting off the borrowing. What kind of affect might that have on spending?
In Chávez fashion Obama stood before America once again to vow his promise not to stand behind oil companies, pushing the dreaded subsidizing kill button. “When oil companies are making huge profits and you’re struggling at the pump, and we’re scouring the federal budget for spending we can afford to do without, these tax giveaways aren’t right. They aren’t smart and we don’t need them.” Chávez did not eliminate permits and subsidizing, he was more direct by incorporating his no pay eminent domain plan.
Obama continues to promote drilling in the rest of the world while shutting down America. Consider Brazil, drill baby drill. Maybe money saved from oil subsidies is planned to be invested in South America.
We cannot interrupt nature to drill in the Alaska tundra although nobody notices all of the millions of dead birds near the windmill farms. Dams were shut down to protect fish. The last nuclear permit was issued more than 3 decades ago. Tessera Solar scheduled to come on line next year in the middle of the desert was not hiring union people. Suddenly ewacko lawsuits have forced it’s shut down to protect tortoises and lizards.
Now Palin is back in the liberal target. AP: “Sarah Palin’s support among Republicans has shrunk and there’s no evidence she’s close to saying whether she will run for president in 2012.
But it’s clear she wants to be part of the conversation.
After seemingly staying on the sidelines this spring, the GOP’s 2008 vice presidential nominee is back with public appearances, fiery criticism of President Barack Obama and a strong defense of Donald Trump, the reality TV show host who has raised questions about the president’s background without offering any proof of his assertions.”
Over the past 50 years the debt ceiling has been lifted 75 times, how many more times does it need to be done before somebody realizes more money is not the problem? News media followers are not responding to what Palin said yesterday, they never do. Instead they attack her personally while attempting to affiliate her with Trump. Palin’s theme was Obama must do what is necessary for America to live within it’s means.
What did Boehner accomplish with his spending concessions? How much different will similar concessions be when agreeing to raise the debt ceiling? Imagine what South America feels about our concerns for gas prices and related jobs. Listen to Palin, AP highlights negative poll results against her last month. How do the debt lending countries react to a regime which refuses to employ cost correcting measures? The symptom is no revenue available from a free economy. The solution is less government, less spending, and no more debt ceiling raises.
