In January of 2010 Obama lied to America once again regarding federal energy consumption to “measure, manage, and reduce… shift federal energy expenses away from oil and towards local, clean energy.”
He succeeded in reducing production of oil investing taxpayer dollars in a new and thriving Brazil Petrobrás offshore deep drilling operation funded heavily by Soros as some 67% of our Gulf leases sit idle. Not to be redundant it’s just that we said Obama lied about government consumption, it’s guzzling gasoline. Since the oil cannot come from America, you guessed it!
CSM Jan 2010: “As the single-largest energy consumer in the US economy, the federal government spent more than $24.5 billion on electricity and fuel in 2008 alone. If it achieves its target, the government would slash federal energy use by the equivalent of 205 million barrels of oil use annually – the equivalent of taking 17 million cars off the road for one year.”
The federal report for 2010 says that government used more gas last year than in any of the previous 5 years, an increase of 7% over 2009. It spent $939 Million taxpayer dollars on fuel last year using 322 Million gallons. Which agency used the most? Which is deepest in red? Postal. They were just under $380 Million in fuel expenses, by far and away taking the gold.
We continue to get the electric/hybrid sermons, and no doubt the regime is purchasing them, there simply cannot be very many. They cost too much and they just do not fit. The postal is hurting most, how do they use electric? How big are the hybrids? What about the cost factor? Imagine border security in these let alone any type of law enforcement. How do they deliver mail in the summer in electric vehicles with kids on the streets?
Obama is an idiot. He’s a hero in his own mind. The people he spent his initial year bowing to are laughing at him, the problem is they now lack respect for us. It just does not make any sense to think America’s oil could be plugged and we could then live life thereafter off the rest of the world, they live off America and where did it get them?
Things must be redefined, on the people’s terms. Budget day is on the 8th, no more numbers. Define the areas the GOP wants cut and put them on the table for the liberals to accept of reject. If they reject, they are saying they will not eliminate unnecessary programs, not dollars.
Obama continues to ad programs. He lies about efforts to put things in order, stimulus, ObamaCare, clean air, permits… and we are guzzled. It’s time to end the $4 gas today. Open the Gulf, open employment, open our economy, close Brazil, drill baby drill!
