Throughout the first half of the Obama administration we have focused on bragging rights, change we can believe in to turn the page on a greedy America. Restructuring to benefit everyone. The recovery is here, now, not to be lost, ever again.
What did the first settlers bring to this country? How did their perspectives differ from those in the governments which they left? Why weren’t the people who made the journey here overwhelmed by the setbacks and burdens such that they were not waiting in line to return? Not only were those who made the trip to America willing to expend the sacrifices necessary to remain but willing to put their lives on the line. Once here none of the settlers was about to accept either changes to their way of life or a ride back. And that was well over 200 years ago.
What if there had never been a Tea Party? Imagine an extension over here no different than what those people left, including some royalty, military, and all of the rules. Why would more people have crossed the pond?
We did not start off that way and still to the amazement of many became the most successful country this world has ever seen in what amounts to a blink of an eye. At that point the country splits, one side seeks to improve the system and the other is determined to redefine it. Everything can be improved, that’s why people go to church. The other side does not believe in doing so, they seek to redefine through a government system which outlines tasks to be followed.
Anyone who has either owned or managed a business realizes that it must evolve. Religion provides a way, when one gets off track one must evolve from mistakes in order to get back on the way. Problems for the other side are simply redefined, they become nothing more than short term fixes, anything but solutions.
We are living in an economy which has proven it can and wants to work. What if Obama’s solutions had been imposed from the start? What if that Tea Party had never occurred?
