In 2010 gravitas has evolved to personal smears. We have been dealing with the Delaware witch, just learned of the Crist tapes, and this morning ABC reported that the NRSC was dropping it’s campaign ads for Joe Miller.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee has since denied the allegation stating that millions of prepaid ads are waiting to be shown. Even so consider the situation from the perspective of many viewers, some of them are watching and asking why waste my vote? Obviously most people today realize they must question the news media and do so each and everyday. Maybe the intent was not to focus on the majority but the few who might be persuaded. It’s the liberal way.
Similar to the Crist tape a local Anchorage CBS affiliate was recorded discussing how to put the Miller rally that evening in the worst possible light. During the meeting it was suggested that there could be a child molester there and the question was how to cover him.
In that session the station was creating news which had yet to occur, if it did. Sarah Palin, relating to the attack personally, addressed the situation this morning by referring to them as ‘corrupt bastards’. Throughout the weekend liberals have defended the Obama administration as well as Crist for what they did to Meek and here we are again with Miller and Murkowski.
The rumor on the Hill is that even now Obama is ready to concede to the Bush tax cut extensions for the greedy rich and make them permanent for the middle class. There is no such animal as a wasted vote.
