Throughout these past two years Obama has attacked the structural integrity of America’s constitutional foundation. People are facing the situation of losing their personal physicians. States can no longer defend themselves from illegals nor enforce federal immigration laws. Terrorists are being provided civil rights. Our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms is now on the target again.
Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 was introduced last year in an effort to control yet another aspect of our constitution freedom, guns. Liberals never let go of their fights and will grab at the smallest of victories. The goal is always to stretch anything beyond comprehension. In this case the House Bill included registration, fingerprinting, supplying a current Driver’s License, supplying your Social Security, submitting to a physical and mental evaluation, and each update, change, or ownership through private or public sale must be reported including a $25 fee (Failure to do so, you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail).
The Senate SB-2099 went a step further requiring all guns to be placed on our 2009 1040 and a tax of $50 per gun.
Everything laid low until late August, gun shop owners were not to made aware of this.
One of the big problems publicized early was the government’s ability to inspect storage methods. The idea of taking away the keys and refusing to give back is a concept that never wants to go away.
The liberal tingles began shooting out of control with the seating of Sotomayor. Imagine the excitement of being a part of the effort to change the recent ruling by SCOTUS which reaffirmed our Second Amendment rights.
What dictatorship or social utopia of Obama’s dreams permits a society with guns? All of that bowing to finally establish himself in the real club. Imagine public submission to government, they could not fight it, hunting with rocks, protecting themselves… He can taste the control.
