OBAMA: A WONDERFUL DAY IN WISCONSIN

During the previous administration Bush could walk out in front of the press and first mention something concerning the Texas traffic he spoke with his mother about without the Times having a rebuttal in for the late edition, carried by each world evening channel, and every AP frontpage morning edition.

Today’s Wisconsin town hall amounted to nothing more than another Obama political misrepresentation. If you missed it listen to the prime cuts wherever you can, he sounds like the chairman of the DNC. Every sentence is plagued with errors. He made a point of stressing every economist who has looked at the stimulus will tell you it is working. Not only did we learn today that last month created a total of 13,000 private sector jobs but the WSJ headline op-ed, by a PhD economist, called the stimulus a total failure.

Obama never addresses a direct issue during the course of his ‘speech’. He either blames the GOP or, as above, defends himself with unsubstantiated facts. He does everything but tell the truth. Unlike Bush the drive-byes keep Obama mistakes parked.

At the G20 Obama spoke of his commit to reduce the deficit by half, starting next year. Today he stressed his devotion to getting debts and deficits under control. Consider the deficit, the economy, the unemployment, the market, our European model… why wait?

Eventually we were told that this is the kind of government we need. That is confusing. Why change it next year?
