OBAMA: DO AS I SAY NOT AS MY PROMISES AND RESULTS INDICATE
Over the course of the past weeks Obama’s armor has been pierced relentlessly. Public perception no longer sees him here before us to stand behind us.
Last week ‘west coast DC’ LA Times broke the story reporting that the ‘top kill’ procedure was working. Their timing was just right to allow Obama to state (in his first press conference in almost a year) that: “I ultimately take responsibility for solving this crisis. I’m the president, and the buck stops with me.”
BP never claimed the strategy to be a success. When the failure announcement came, and the possibility of leakage through August was realized, Obama’s promises of results and reach for leadership were immediately flushed. Regardless, he is on vacation.
Obama’s black eye from the Sestak problem has swollen. More than 110 news articles have been written on this holiday weekend on Sestak in the past 24 hours. It is the front line story at the nation’s most watched news, FOX. The questions which were opened by inadequate White House responses are creating a ground swell demand for answers. Voters are unwilling to accept what Obama is saying.
We discussed the pigeon being held captive, under armed guard, as a spy. Obama promises national security while criticizing Arizona’s immigration law. Taking it a few steps out of bounds he permits Mexico’s Calderón to rip the state before a standing applause of congressional progressives.
We are all familiar with the old change promise. We are not seeing the will of the people and the voters are saying enough is enough. We want to know the facts about Sestak, BP (including why Jindal… is being ignored), Arizona, Kagan’s brother, the hidden costs of ObamaCare…, the results simply are not there.
