OBAMA SENDS ATTACK DOG NAPOLITANO TO BP OIL SPILL
Earlier this afternoon J Napolitano was sent to Louisiana to convey a White house message. In so doing she mentioned BP 11 times over the course of her statement, in summary naming the disaster the ‘BP oil spill’.
CNN: “It seems workers on the Transocean Deepwater Horizon drilling rig (not owned by BP) were attempting to cap this new exploratory well when it suffered a “blow” causing the fire and sinking of the rig and the rupture of the line which brings extracted oil to the shore.”
Last Friday BP CEO Tony Hayward accepted complete financial responsibility for ‘legitimate claims’. He said he would clean-up the problem and compensate families which suffered deaths in the accident.
Obama, who has yet to visit the area, has been trying to pull himself away from immigration reform and financial reform. The game plan currently is to cut off all of that new offshore exploration and schedule a date to hall in Halliburton and spank their tush’s. The fire is already on BP.
Leadership for Obama is, for lack of a better term, a drag. The only interest he has in America’s problems is making them worse. Bush went to the Katrina area the next day. More than a week later Obama is sending the circus down to Louisiana to blame BP and create more divisions amongst our nation. He was enjoying himself far more in IL telling the crowd there should be a limit as to how much money people can have.
If anything Obama is getting excited about increases in power, $4 gas, fuel shortages, running some of these non-government car companies out of town, imposing even stricter environmental standards, increased unemployment…
Oil is the fuel that runs our economic engine and what would excite Obama more than to be able to take away our keys? Who is blaming the Coast Guard which assured all of us that there was plenty of time prevent the oil from washing ashore? Big government continues to grow while business remains in their sights.
