BRINGING THE PARTIES TOGETHER

Yesterday’s health care summit ended where it began, Obama and party focused on ramming the legislation through congress by any means possible.

Obama, “I think the American people aren’t always all that interested in procedures inside the Senate. I do think that they want a vote on how we’re going to move this vote. And I think most Americans think a majority vote makes sense.”

When Obama finished his opening the discussion was turned over to Lamar Alexander(R,TN) who focused on many points including Medicare reductions being spent on new programs, dumping low income citizens into a Medicaid program unpopular with physicians, increased taxes and increased premiums, various states securing deals others are not privy to, inability to reduce costs, sinking our most important employer small business with unreasonable restrictions, ignoring not only 60 votes but the will of the people.

Obama has not provided any facts by which to prove this legislation can do anything other than create more deficits. It does not create employment, the central issue on the minds of Americans today.
